Program Description
The Girls in Sport Program is designed to create a safe, welcoming, and empowering space for girls to stay active, build confidence, and develop healthy habits through sport and recreation. The program encourages teamwork, leadership, and physical wellbeing while helping participants connect with peers in a supportive and inclusive environment. Through a variety of activities, girls have the opportunity to improve their skills, try new sports, and strengthen their confidence both on and off the field. The program focuses on creating positive experiences in sport while promoting community, resilience, and personal growth. Registration for the Girls in Sport Program is managed through Focus on Ethnic Women (FEW). Participation Agreement and Liability Waiver
By registering for this program, I acknowledge and agree that my participation in any activities, programs, or events organized by Muslim Social Services (MSS) is entirely voluntary and undertaken at my own risk. I understand and agree that MSS, its employees, volunteers, contractors, and partners are not responsible or liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that I may incur while participating in these activities, whether such injuries or damages are caused by negligence or otherwise. I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless MSS, its employees, volunteers, contractors, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, or demands, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, arising out of or related to my participation in any MSS activities. I also acknowledge that this waiver of liability applies to any claims arising from accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during transportation to and from MSS events or any other MSS-related activities. By completing the registration for this program, I confirm my understanding and acceptance of these terms.
