Program Description
In partnership with the Workplace & Immigrant Network we’re excited to offer a dynamic Employment Readiness Program tailored to empower individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in today’s job market. Whether you’re exploring your first job or aiming to strengthen your employability, this program is designed for you! Participants will engage in hands-on workshops, resume and cover letter building, interview preparation, workplace communication skills, and career exploration activities. You’ll also have the chance to connect with local employers, gain valuable insights from industry professionals, and access resources to support your employment journey. Location: 645 Westmount Rd E, Kitchener, ON N2E 3S3 Schedule: April 9 – Upstairs April 16 – Basement April 23 – Upstairs April 30 – Upstairs May 7 – Basement May 14 – Upstairs May 21 – Basement May 28 – Upstairs Take the next step toward your future—equip yourself with the tools to succeed! Participation Agreement and Liability Waiver
By registering for this program, I acknowledge and agree that my participation in any activities, programs, or events organized by Muslim Social Services (MSS) is entirely voluntary and undertaken at my own risk. I understand and agree that MSS, its employees, volunteers, contractors, and partners are not responsible or liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that I may incur while participating in these activities, whether such injuries or damages are caused by negligence or otherwise. I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless MSS, its employees, volunteers, contractors, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, or demands, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, arising out of or related to my participation in any MSS activities. I also acknowledge that this waiver of liability applies to any claims arising from accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during transportation to and from MSS events or any other MSS-related activities. By completing the registration for this program, I confirm my understanding and acceptance of these terms.
