Ramadan Food Hamper Program – Volunteer Registration


Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Muslim Social Services Waterloo Region (MSSWR) for our Ramadan Food Hamper Assembly and Distribution, in partnership with Islamic Relief Canada.


Volunteers play a key role in helping us assemble and distribute food hampers with care, efficiency, and respect for the dignity and privacy of the families we serve.


📅 Date: Tuesday, February 17, 2026

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

📍 Location: 65 Hanson Avenue (The Family Center – Gym)


Volunteer roles may include setup and unloading, assembly line support, box labeling and staging, and distribution assistance. A brief on-site orientation will be provided.


Please note:

  • Volunteers must follow staff instructions on-site

  • No photos or videos of recipients are permitted

  • This initiative is supported through Zakat funding and must be conducted respectfully and professionally


Once you complete this form, a member of the MSSWR team will follow up with confirmation and next steps.

Please note: Photos and videos will not include recipients or individuals receiving food hampers. Participation in media is voluntary and does not affect your ability to volunteer.
