Join Us for an Important Workshop on Mental Health and Addiction Awareness! Muslim Social Services is honored to host two incredible guest speakers: ✨ Dr. Rabia Siddiqui • MD and practitioner of Integrative Psychiatry ✨ Rosina Kharal • BSc, Masters in Mathematics and Computer Science • Active member of the KW Muslim community for 25+ years • Over a decade of experience in social work, homelessness, and addiction management Workshop Title: Helping Loved Ones Through Mental Health and Addiction Challenges Topics Covered: ✅ How to Help a Loved One: Practical tips and compassionate strategies ✅ Responding to a Crisis: What to do when immediate support is needed ✅ Addiction Treatment Options: Understanding pathways to recovery ✅ Navigating the Crisis Response System in Canada: Guidelines and essential tips to access the right help Why It Matters: Too many people suffer in silence, unable to find or navigate the resources they need. I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless MSS, its employees, volunteers, contractors, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, or demands, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, arising out of or related to my participation in any MSS activities. I also acknowledge that this waiver of liability applies to any claims arising from accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during transportation to and from MSS events or any other MSS-related activities. By completing the registration for this program, I confirm my understanding and acceptance of these terms.
